Mark Heinlein, When We Were Young
There are 6 Twenty-Five Dollar awards:
Judy Darling, Long’s Ridge

Katie Carter, Signs of Winter
Paul Highby, If a Crow Does That
Nancy Meyer, Seasonal Adjustment
Henry Lafnear, Mission College Carpool
The award recipients and their friends are invited to ceremony put on by The Arts Council Silicon Valley held on Thursday, May 6th at 10:30 A.M. at the Board Chambers on the 1st floor, County Government Center, East Wing, 70 West Hedding Street, San Jose, California 95110. The winners are invited to read their poems at that time as are the poets whose poems appeared on the website during the month of April.
Sincerely,
Nils Peterson

A Great Big P.S.
Friends, I must tell you that the presentation of April Poetry Month could not have happened without the aid and comfort of Pushpa MacFarlane, the absolute Queen of Blogsites. Her work every day made the daily poems appear as if in a shining light and made me very proud of the whole enterprise. Her daily support of me and her competence at getting your poems presented beautifully deserves a raised glass and a toast from all of the poets.
So, here, I raise mine. Thank you Pushpa.
Fondly,
Nils Peterson
